Spotting Brown Discharge. Have Adenomyosis, Excessive Bleeding, Cramps. Can Tranexamic Be Taken?

Hi, I have been having a lot of signs pointing to implantation bleeding, one of them being that I began spotting brown discharge last Saturday until yesterday when I began bleeding and what resembles my nor all period. I suffer from adenomyosis and bleed excessively with clots followed my excruciating cramping. We are trying for a baby. I am in a lot of pain with my 'period' - can I take tranexamic tablets my gp has presented robes to ease the cramps and bleeding? I'm just afraid it may affect my pregnancy if I am pregnant? Could this even be the case? Please help. Thanks

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. Tranexamic will cross placenta and we can see that in cord blood but there is no risk mentioned for fetus. But before using you need to have a HPT done to rule out pregnancy. Thank you.
