Sore throat, swollen tongue, continuous buzz sound in ear, difficulty in eating or drinking, talking. What can be done?

Hi there, my boyfriends has a very sore throat and hasnt been able to eat or drink for the last 4 days, his tongue is swollen and it is very hard for him to talk and for others to understand him. He is constantly hearing a buzz sound in his ear though they dont seem to be needed to be popped. What can we do ? and whats wrong with him ?
