Sore Throat, Severe Ear Ache, Swelling In Lymph Nodes On Sides. Prescribed Antihistamines. Shingles?

I have had a very sore throat on right side and terrible ear ache also right side for three months and some swelling of lymph nodes on side. Been to two different dr...They just say it is very irritated take antihistamines. no fever.cant believe how bad it hurts. How bad I hurt all over. I thought it might be shingles, but kind of tired of your to doctors without any satisfaction.

Hi, I am Dr. Samiron Roy, your ENT Splst,
By your complaints it appears that you are having Acute Follicular Tonsillitis. It is usually bilateral but some times it can be unilateral also as in your case. You need to start this therapy immediately.

1. Gurgle with Hexidine tid in this way(150ml wrm water + 10ml Hexiidine)
2. Tab Cefixime CV 325mg 1bid pc x 10days.
3. Tab Chymoral Forte 1 tid AC x 10Days.
4. Tab Zerodol SP 1bid pc x 10days.
5. Tab PAN 40 1 OD 6am AC x 10days.
6. Tab Folcovit 1OD pc x 10days.
7. Local dry heat to the right side of the neck externally tid.
