Hi

Thanks for writing in

Sore throat can occur even after tonsillectomy if you have developed pharyngitis or laryngitis

Avoid cold and fried foods and drinks

Oramorph will help control pain but a good antiinflammatory would be better

Lozenges can help, equally can medicated gargles help

Hope this helps
Wishing you a speedy recovery
