Hi,
Thanks for your query.
According to what you have said, you are having Diabetes, Hypertension and Coronary artery disease, all of which are under treatment.
The symptoms of sore throat, fever, body ache and flu can be due to infections from bacteria or virus. To determine that, you will need to undergo some laboratory investigations and physical examination. Once it is identified, proper medications can be given. I would suggest you to visit your general practitioner for an evaluation.
In the meantime, you should have plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. You could also use some tepid sponging when your fever is rising.
Hope I have answered your query. Please let me know if I could be of further assistance to you. Thank you.

Regards

Hi,
Welcome to HCM
I am glad to know that you are taking care of health inspite of hypertension,Diabetes and a Myocardial Infractionn( Heart Attack).
Acute sore throat viral infection is common in this season just before the onset of winter.
Such viral infection usually self limiting illness but one should not take illness lightly.
Hot saline gargle helps to rduce congestion of throat, and for bodyache a tab of paracetamol may help.
It would be unethical to prescribe any medicine without examination of patient and this forum is not for getting prescription.
It is advisable to visit your treating Physician and get appropriate medicines and you will improve soon.
Take care of your health.

Hello ,
Thanks for writing to us.
Since you have sore throat, flu fever & bodyache as you hads mentioned, you should avoid exertion. Take rest. Drink plenty of fluids. Take paracetamol for you fever & bodyache. Steam inhalation can also be helpful for sore throat. Most importantly you take rest.
If you dont feel better with all this measures in 2 days than contact your doctor. Since you are diabetic so you are at more risk of developing bacteria infection.
Wish you good health.
