Hello I read your query regarding sore throat, pain in joints and muscle and green phlegm. Considering your complaints it appears as your throat infection and joint pains are related to each other, so it becomes necessary to rule out staph infection as that may give rise to joint pain therefore you may do Culture and sensitivity of throat swab. This test will clear the picture. Coughing out green phlegm indicates the infection in respiratory tract. Till the culture report is awaited you may take- (a) Tab Paracetamol. (b) Expectorant cough syrup. By a thorough examination and clinical co-relation of signs and relevent investigations one may pin point the diagnosis and that may be accordingly manage. Regards.
