Sore neck and throat, headache, red lines in back of throat, yellowish-white spot on tonsil. Worried

I have had a sore neck and throat for a week now. I have also been getting lots of headaches . I have red lines in the back of my throat and a little yellowish-white spot on my lower left tonsil when i move my tounge. Only in the last two days have i seen a lot of yellow snot as i am now constantly blowing my nose. I do have a virus but should i be worried as i still have the headaches, sore neck and now the yellow snot?

There seems to be nothing to worry about. As the viral illness will go on its own and the red lines can be because of the infection which will get settled down once the infection is over or it could be because of the reflux disease. The acid reflux from the stomach irritates the throat and because of constant and long term ie chronic irritation the red lines may appear and yellow spot may too appear .
You can do gargle with diluted betadine or listerine to maintain the oral hygiene. You can also take anti reflux medicines
