Sore In Crease Of Groin, Buttocks. Temporary Relief With Anti Fungal Powders. Permanent Cure?

I have had a sore ness in the crease of my groin my buttocks and the area between the scrotum and buttocks. Feels like chaffing but no rash . Also when I shower it seems to be a little better but then it seems to almost feel sticky which is why I am getting this soreness. It has made me miss many days of work also has really hurt my quality of life for me and my kids because in my days off i need to take it easy so it heals and I can work again. It seems to be worse when wearing pants. I have tried Change boxer boxer briefs. I have been using anti fungal cream powders for about 2 or 3 years now. The cream seems to only help because it stops the rubbing...... HELP PLZ

HI ! From the history, it seems that you are getting repeated fungal infections. One of the common causes of the recurrent fungal infections is unsuspected Diabetes Mellietus. This is not to frighten you, but you must get your blood sugar tested as a routine. Irrespective of the result, you have to give special attention to your personal hygiene, which I am sure you must be doing, and keep the area dry after every bath. Because it is recurring, I feel that you should also consult a skin specialist (Dermatologist) in your area, who may also prescribe you some anti fungal medicines apart from the anti fungal creams, once he confirms that it is a fungal infection. Wishing you an early recovery.
