Radiologist 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.

Kidneys, ureters and uterus are normal.

There is a 24 x 27 mm area in the left ovary, not very big in size, features point towards dermoid cyst which is a benign condition.

There is also mention of suspected polycystic ovarian features.

There is nothing much to worry.

Please consult a gynecologist who will take detailed history of your sister and give proper guidance.

She can get repeat ultrasound scan after 3 months to see for any change in appearance of the suspected dermoid cyst.

Hope this helps
