Sometimes I wake up and my heart is beating really fast.Is it normal ?

sometimes i wake up and my heart is beating really fast and after about 5 or 10 minutes it slows down again is that normal Sometimes I wake up and my heart is beating really fast and after 5 or 10 minutes it slows down again, at 1st I thought it was panic attacks but I dont think so any more is it normal for your heart to speed up when you wake up?

The fast beating of your heart when you wake up is not related to getting but because of the dreams you are having during the sleep. The frightening dreams we see during our sleep produces all the changes on our heart rate and cardiac output as will be caused by the emotional changes.
