Hi,
It seems that he might be having small hematoma caused by fall on ground.
Though fall was on back of head but blood might be collected on right side while sleeping on right side.
As now week time is passed, there is nothing serious.
Apply ice pack for 10 minutes, 2-3 times a day.
Gradually blood will be absorbed from the site and he will be alright.
Ok and take care.
