The best thing to do if you have allergy of detergent is to keep away from that particular soap and used an alternate one which suits you.Treatment of allergy is limited to the specific time when you have it but since it is inborn mostly it does not go that is the reason you should keep away from allergy causing detergent or soap.

My 2 1/2 yr old daughter has got a red bumpy irritated rash on her back. It started close to her neck between the shoulder blades and spreads down the centre of her spine out towards the ribs. It flares up the worse when she takes a bath, becoming more irritated and red, and also has tiny little raised bumps every where. When she is dry the bumps are ruff. Is this an allergy to soap. She has been playing with some cheap coloured soap crayons in the bath. What is this and what should I been using to soothe it?
Hi Dr. Kondekar. I have been experiencing a rash on the bottom of my butt cheeks for close to a month now. It is starting to spread into the crack. I believed that it was due to a laundry soap allergy at first because I tend to be sensitive to those sorts of things, but it is not improving and I fear it may be due to a fungal infection after doing some research. Is this a common occurrence? I have been in the tropics of Central Kalimantan Borneo for the past four months where it is hot and often sweaty, but I did not ever notice an abundance of sweat there. I did sit often for long periods of time on the forest floor however... Any ideas?
