Hi Nick!
I must congratulate you for your straight forward decision to quit smoking if the precipitating factor was not the pressure to obtain a job, because in that case failure rate is more!
Please stick to you promise.
Smoking has a cumulative damage and also interacts with other factors and if you have quit today and did not have any manifested medical event at end of one year then probably you could escape the harmful effects the smoking you did.
If you have quit today and want to undergo medical a week later then you would not have trouble.
DO MORNING WALK AND JOGGING REGULARLY THEN YOU WILL HAVE RAPID RECOVERY.
Take Care!

Hello
Call it pot, grass, weed, or any one of nearly 200 other names, marijuana is, by far, the world’s most commonly used illicit drug—and far more dangerous than most users realize.
Marijuana can stick in your body for up to 90 days if you are smoking a lot of it daily. There is no true way to get it out of your system other than to just let it happen. You can try drinking a lot of water or cranberry juice. Some people think that exercising and sweating will help to get it out of there.
 Your body can still have marijuana evidence for three years, if someone is testing your hair. Most urine tests can find evidence of drug use for up to 60 to 90 days.
 how long weed stays in your body?
It depends upon
Your health, diet and lifestyle;
Your body weight and speed of your metabolism;
Frequency of drug use and potency of THC in your weed.
Although there are various online kits  available which claim to detox your body fast but these look doubtful.
Thanks
