Small White Spot On Iris With Irritation And Blurred Vision Can Be Due To Contact Lenses?

There is a small white spot on the iris of my left eye. Noticed it this morning when I put in my contact. Now my eye is a little irritated and there is just a little blurriness in my vision. Is this white spot due to wearing contact lenses? Is there anything I can do now to alleviate the irritation?
