Small Purple Spots On Inner Arm, No Injury, No Bruise. Cause Of Concern?
Hi, doctor. I am an 18 year-old female. Today I woke up with a very small freckle-size purple spot on my inner arm . I have not hit my arm in any way to cause a bruise . It doesn t hurt at all. It s just...there. I m the type of person to freak out over something that doesn t seem right. I immediately think the worst. Do you have any idea what this spot could be?
Dear this spot which you have noticed in the morning could be a bruise/ ecchymoses. It usually develops unnoticebly to some persons because of day to day hectic activity. Usually it subsides spontaneously in 4 -5 days.
But still to be sure enough, This can be examined by the physician. He can investigate you accordingly for Platelet count, Bleeding time, Clotting time and Prothrombin Time to ruleout any possibility of bleeding disordor, which are not very common.
Hope your query is answered with your satisfaction
Thanks
