Small Lump On Thigh Near Vulva. Why Is It There?

Hi I noticed today that I have a small lump (as wide as a dime, about .75 cm tall) on my right inner thing, near my vulva . It is in the pubic-hair area. It is painful when i push on it and feels relatively squishy, yet slightly firm. I noticed it today but I do not know how long it has been there (definitely not more than a week).

Hello,

Thanks for writing here.

Lump near vulva seems to be due to infection.

Other possibilty is cyst probably a bartholins cyst.

You can take course of antibiotics for 5 to 6 days and wait for resolution of lump.

If it will not resolve then it will be better to get it removed by surgical methods.

Hope this will help you.Take care.
