Small Lump Near Collar Bone, Received Flu Shot, Tetanus Pertussis Booster. Due To Vaccines?

Hi I was at the Doctors this past wednesday for my annual checkup. Upon which i received my flu shot (which i get every year) and the tetanus/ pertussis booster. Today I noticed a small lump near my collarbone (assuming this is a lymph node). Just wondering if this could be from one or both of the vaccines I recieved. THanks

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

I presume that the lump is on the same side where you got the shots. Usually the vaccines that you mentioned do not cause lymph node enlargement. Nevertheless it is better to get it examined by your doctor to rule out any other cause for the lump.

I hope I have answered your query to your satisfaction.

Regards,

RKK
