Small Cyst In Axillary Region. No Pain. Having Tubular, Cord-like Extension From The Cyst. What Could It Be?

Hi,
I noticed a small cyst-like area in my left axillary region a couple weeks ago. I get cysts that come and go (maybe due to shaving?). It's the size of a pea and it's soft. It's not painful. However, tonight as I was showering, I noticed a long, hard, cord-like extension from the (cyst?). It's tubular (feels like a vein) and very long and hard. Do you have any idea what this could be? There is no pain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, welcome to the Health care magic forum.
As you describe it is a lymph gland, due to filariasis, or an infection in the nearby.
It needs to be treated completely, so i advise you to consult a surgeon for diagnosis and treatment .
If it becomes abscess, it is to be incised and drained, along with the antibiotic coverage.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
