Small Child, Testicle Pain, Red Bumps, Rashes In Area, Pain On Moving. Cure?

My 8 year old son has been complaining intermittently about pain in his testicles over the last couple of months. Today he came home from school because of the pain. He also said he had a red bumpy rash but there isn t anything there now. He doesn t seem to be in a lot of pain now. He said that the pain can come back based on moving around. Are these symptoms of something specific?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
Some times trauma or epidymoorchitis causes testicular pain and require analgesics, rest, plenty of oral fluids and support of testes. One thing to rule out is torsion of testis which is an emergency. So consult immediately your Pediatrician for the examination of scrotum and the need for advice on any surgical referral.
