i think he is still persisting GI infection. i just want to know for how long and which antibiotics u gave to your child. i think u should go for few investigation like cbc, stool r/ m, urine r/ m, USG of whole abdomen give him metrogyl , albendazole and antispasmodic like drotin, probiotics. take care of hygeine in serving food and water. he will be alright in few days.

Hi,
Thank you for your query,
Your son is having gastroenteritis and it is 6 days duration.
Give sips of oral rehydrating solutions , coconut water, lemon water after each vomiting and loose motions in equal amounts to the losses to prevent dehydration.
Because of colic, gastritis component and increased motility of gut, the pain will occur and subsides after controlling the infection.
Consult your Pediatrician for examination of your child and specific management.

Hi
Thanks for your query

acute gastroenteritis is mostly viral in nature and takes few days to settle. Pain abdomen is usually associated with some underlying infection.and if it persist i suggest you to take pediatric consultation.
In the meantime give plenty of fluids, give coconut water.curd.banana.boiled potato.Avoid all kind of junk food,

Your child will be fine.
God bless
