Small Child, Squint In Eye. Prescribed Colircusi Cicloplejico Eye Drops. Function And Side Effects?
My daughter is 18 months ,she has intermittent squint in her right eye. The squint was noticed two days ago ,we consulted an ophthalmologist and he asked to use colircusi cicloplejico eye drops in both eyes for two months. Im worried about the long duration of applying thiis eye drops And what is the function of this eye drops?

As you mention above , its mean condition is not congenital.
You have already consult with your ophthalmologist so no need to worry.
though i don't doubt the diagnosis of squint (strabismus) made by your doctor as he would be in a better position to assess the condition of your child than me,
I would advice:
Continue your treatment.
Follow up when he advice.
Check for Refractive error (Retinoscopic examination), May be your ophthalmologist done.
She is too small to surgical operation.
If she is not treated with medicine or glasses, It required surgery after 5to 6 year.
Out come is good
I hope so she will recover with medicine or glasses.
