Small Child, Nasal Congestion, Coughing. Taking Ambrodil Drops, Oxydrops. Treatment?

Hi Doctor, 41 days old baby girl of weight 5kg. She had congestion in noses for last 3 days.We consulted our pediatrician yesterday, he given ambrodil drops(0.5ml 3 times) and oxydrops for infant (2 drops 4 times). But today she is having cough too. Is these medicines enough for cough, or do we need to consult doctor again? Thanks

Hi,
Thank you for your query,
As your Pediatrician prescribed medications , you can contnue the medication.
Ambrodil drops are sufficient for cough as it contains abroxil which is a mucolytic and helps to clear the mucus and decreases the cough.

Your baby is having congestion,and i suggest you to continue medication as advised by your pediatrician.
Observe your baby her feeding pattern.her activity and if symptoms persist you should consult your doctor again.
