Thank you for your query.
When a person has an infection and the infecting agent enters your blood stream, this causes systemic complaints known as malaise, tiredness , fatigue , painful joints , headache etc. This is to be expected but is not normal. Your child's symptoms have been present for longer than 48hours and I think it best to be examined by a doctor to determine the causation and prescribe the appropriate treatment . Young children are more prone to complications , so best not to delay. I trust this answers your question. Kind regards.
