3 yr old Son has had fever for 7 days as high as 102 primarily at night. No other symptoms. On day 6 we took him to have blood work done and partial results indicate a high blood see rate of 50. The rest of results won t be done until. Monday. Who could it be? Also his torso is really warm, warmer than his head and feet and hands are cold .

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi
What are the blood investigations done? Is CBP is normal, MP and WIDAL tests are negative? Sedimentation test is high but it is a nonspecific test and if it is hight other chronic diseases to be ruled out by doing investigations like Chest x ray and Mantoux test if required as per your Pediatrician advise.
