Sling Surgery Suggested For Incontinence. Recovery Period?

yes, I am facing sling surgery to treat stress incontinence. What would be an estimated recovery time to rest after this surgery. Also what kind of pain and discomfort should I expect after the procedure. Feeling a lot of anxiety about having it done, but do not like living with the urine leakage and wearing pads all the time.

Incontinence is a debilitating disease and may produce some social issues. I wosh to congratulate you for choosing to have your surgery done. Sling procedures nowadays are done minimally invasive and recovery time are much faster than the old procedures done before.

around 1-2 weeks rest after the surgery and the discomfort after is very minimal. There will be a small puncture near the groin on Both sides that will be the discomfort you will be feeling.

I hope i was able to alleviate some of your anxiety and best of luck.
