Slight headache, swollen glands, sore palate. Cold or throat infection symptoms?

For the past two days I have had a slight headache , and swollen glands (I believe). In the back of my throat , on the palate infront of the tonsils is soar and the back of my nose where the nose connects to the throat, but the soarness is coming from inside, not oustide like a soar throat. This is why I suspect that its glands. I am flying to tomorrow from so am a bit concerned. Is this the start of a cold or throat infection? It s been lingering for 3 days now.
