Slept with lenses, vision blurred, diagnosed keratitis. Loteflam drops, genteal not effective. Renolen drops will help?
Hi, I have been using contact lenses since last 20 years. A week back I slept with lenses on in night. Due to which I have got blurred vision in right eye. And I have been diagnosed with keratitis. My doctor suggested me lloteflam eye drops with genteal. it didn't helped me much and now another doc has given me renolen eye drops and systems ultra. Please tell me will it help me in curing keratitis.
Hi.. Welcome to HCM.. CL induced keratitis will take a long a course for healing... You have to use antibiotic eye drops also if it is a keratitis.. Renolen won't help much but systane ultra does.. Keep consulting the doctor for follow up and to change treatment when required.. Remember you should never sleep with CL on.. You can use a lubricating eye ointment also like lacrigel at bedtime for relief... Hope this information helps you..Take care..
