Sleeping Difficulty, Dry Mouth And Sweats After Switching From Oxy To Tramadol

I had been prescribed oxycodone/acetaminophen 5-500mg cap. Recently I was taken off the oxy and prescribed tramadol/apap 37.5mg/325mg. The oxy typically reduced my cronic pain and allowed me to relax so I can sleep. Since switching, I have not noticed the relief achieved by the oxy, have difficulty sleeping, a dry mouth, and sweats. It has been two weeks since my last oxy. Should I continue with the tramadol or try and have my oxy prescription renewed?

Hi,Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe it appears that you are comfortable with the oxycodone, and 500mg of acetaminophen.
Now you are using tramadol, and 325mg of acetaminophen.
As you are comfortable with the previous combination, you can try to have it ,if not possible, you can ask for up to 650mg of acetaminophen.
Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, till the pains are completely cleared.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
