Since Pregnancy, Heart Skips A Beat When Have Gas In Stomach. Taking Inderal For Anxiety
Hi ...... since pregnancy i have had my heart skip beats my sister and my mum get them as well. I do find that after a big meal when I have gas in my stomach my heart skips beat all the time. They are like episodes. I feel fine. I am on 1 40mg Inderal tablets for anxiety and I am sure it helps with the heart palps as well. I just don't know why when my tummy is full of gas and I lay down why my heart skips beats. If someone could help that woudl be great. I have told my local doctor and had all my blood tests recently and everything is really good.

There is always relation ship to the heart and the stomach. When there is gastric irritation, patient feels that there is tachycardia. Like wise the heart pain may be felt as the stomach pain. these are due to the same vagus nerve supply .
To differentiate between these two, you may have to get the E.C.G, ECHO cardiogram, and gastroscopy done.
