I have been taking methotrexate for 4 years to help treat periphereal vasculitic neuropathy. I took 15mg per week for the first 3 years and then the dosage was reduced to 10mg per week. One month ago, my dosage was increased back to 15mg per week and I am experiencing strange side effects that I don't remember having in the past. For instance, when I go to sleep, I am having this half awake and half asleep feeling. I talk while in this state and have been having anger issues at night due to a feeling of desperosity for help with the pain in my hands and feet. I am driving my husband crazy with the sleep talking. My husband tries to help me but I feel so angry while I'm half asleep although, according to him, I seem awake. I have no history of mental illness. I don't know what to do. I simply cannot help myself at night.
