Shoulder Pain That Intensified With Wine Intake. Reason?
I have been having right shoulder pain. It started suddenly saturday evening very sharp pains woke me out of sleep.I don't recall injuring it. I have been taking it easy and taking ibuprofen and noticed an improvment. I had a glass of wine and noticed the pain become more intense almost immediately. Should I be concerned this is more than just a pulled muscle I have never had that reaction before from wine. The pain was tolerable witg the nsaids until I drank the wine. That worries me more is going on and my body is trying to tell me something.

Hello
Thanks for posting your query.
Your right shoulder pain seems to be due to muscle pull. It not seems to be related to your drinks. You can take antiinflammatory like ibuprofen for pain.
Doing hot fomatation and applying muscle relaxant gel will be helpful in reducing the spasm and pain.
Hope this will help you
Regards.
Dr Saurabh gupta.
