Shoulder Blade And Chest Hurts While Coughing Or Sneezing

my shoulder blade hurts and so does my chest about an inch or so from my sternum it hurts when I try to cough or sneeze and I cant take deep breaths my throat hurts from having to breath through my mouth and I wake up with bad headaches I have been really stressed out and believe that to be a factor as to why I feel the way I do, but do you think it might be something else?

Thanks for your question on HCM. Thweway describing your pain, pain on coughing, sneezing, deep inspiration, pain is mostly related to pleurisy. Pleurisy is inflammation of pleura and it is due to mostly after pleural effusion or due to pneumonia. You are also having shoulder pain which favours effusion more due to diaphragm irritation and referred pain in shoulder. Better to under go chest x ray first and rule out effusion and pneumonia. If chest x ray is normal than it must be related to stress.
