Should The Hematoma Lump On The Spermatic Cord Be Removed By Surgery?

According to a recent ultrasound I have a seroma/hematoma lump attached to the left spermatic cord and an elongated far deposit along the deep aspect of the left spermatic cord, which could be related to the lipoma. I had bilateral inguinal hernia surgery on 6-9-14. I also had separate hernia surgery left inguinal hernia in 1999 and right inguinal hernia surgery in 2004. Should I consider surgery on the lump and fatty deposit on the left spermatic cord? This condition is somewhat painful when the area is touched. Cancer has been ruled out by the radiologist who read the study.

Welcome to health care magic.

1.If there is any seroma/hematoma needs to get an FNAC - fine needle aspiration cytology to confirm the actual cell content of the lesion before even excise the lump.
2.Radiologist can say the features which may fall in to benign or malignant - but confirmative diagnosis is always histopathological - as the features always overlap.
3.The possible cause could be the post operative scar thickened or inflammatory changes in post operative site.
4.Cancer only ruled out with FNAC / BIOPSY.
5.Yest the hematoma can be removed by surgical procedure. good luck.

Hope i have answered your query.
