Should The Gallbladder Be Removed To Avoid Any Risks?

I have a gallbladder with a low EF and no gallstones. I have had increasing symptoms of RUQ pain radiating to my rt mid back area. NO N&V, but burping every so often. Stool is more arromatic and semi-formed. What are the risks to leaving my gallbladder in and not removing it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

No serious risks as you do not have gallstones. I suggest leaving the gall bladder and taking pain killers, e.g. Tylenol, when you feel pain. Also, get tested for liver disease with blood tests via your own doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
