Should T-minic Be Continued Or Switched To Anbrolite Levo And Cefop For Fever?

My daughter who is suffering with cold & fever for last 15 days is taking T-minic & crocin cyrup. At times her temprature is about 99 *F to 100*F.The doctor has prescribed Ambrolite Levo & Cefo prox.Should i continue with T-minic or go for Ambrolite Levo & Cefoprox.

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.

After reading your post, I would like to suggest that you should follow the advise of her paediatrician who has clinically examined her.

Since the symptoms were not controlled by T-minic, your doctor must have changed to Ambrolite Levo.
Cefoprox is an antibiotic and is given in bacterial infections.
I would suggest giving a probiotic along with the antibiotic to prevent antibiotic induced diarrhoea.
You can give crocin syrup for fever.
She should drink lots of water daily.

Following investigations may be helpful :-
1. Complete Blood Count(CBC).
2. Throat swab culture.
