Should One Take Rabies Injection For A Dog Scratch And What Is The Dosage ?

actually one dog has attacked me from back, i dont know whether he has biten me or just scrached by his nails... but i have little scrach marks. I just wanted to know whether i have to go for rabies vaccine or not??? how much time i have to take this rabies injection.. how many injections are there??

Hi!
firstly you have to clean the wound locally and take a tetanus injection as early as possible.Incase the dog is unknown vaccine status it is better you start anti rabies treatment with your local hospital.First dose as soon as possible,next 3, 7, 14 days post exposure.
