Should It Be Fine To Get Removed Fallopian Tubes And Ovaries Or Hysterectomy Post Menopause?
I'm trying to decide whether to just have ovaries and fallopian tubes removed or to have a hysterectomy as well. I'm post menopausal and the uterus and cervix appear to be fine.
I'm wondering about HRT following just removal of ovaries vs ovaries and uterus. Does this impact the kind of HRT that I would be taking?
Does that chance of vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence, and bowel problems increase or decrease with hysterectomy?

Hi Good queries. The Hysterectomy will reduce the chance of prolapse, incontinence or bowel problems. Post-menopause ovaries are usually atrophied ( not much in work). No impact on HRT. Why would you like to go for any surgery if there is no problem with ovaries / Fallopian tubes or uterus? May not be needed.
