Hello thanx for using hcm
Dear its safe to give cerelac now, but when your introducing new food you should give liquid consistency and less quantity.
Dont feed semi solid, its the time where infants learn to swallow semi liquid foods.(consistency and quantity matters)
Diarrhoea and stomach upsets are common for 2 -3 days no need to panic.
Start always with rice based cereals as they are easy to digest later on shift to fruit based cereal and then wheat based as its little tough to digest.
More over hygeine is very important part of infant feed always use boiled water for making feeds.
Majority infants cry in night because of hunger its normal.
