Should I Meet Doctor For 310 Sugar Level?

Hi I'm a 27 year old diabetic and for the last three hours I cannot get my blood sugars to go below 310. I have taken insulin to try to bring it down but that is not working. Earlier I tested my urine for Keytones and they were between some and moderate however they are down to merely present. I don't know if I should go to the E.R. or not. Right now they are 330 and climbing.

Hi, I had gone through your query and understood your concerns.

Sir, The blood sugar levels of 330 is higher to normal. If you are a diabetic and already on medication, you need to take the same medication until treating doctor changes the dosage, you should not try on your own which is very risky.

Please check your HbA1c level which shows sugar levels for the last three months, if it is higher to 7%, Then discuss this with the treating doctor regarding increase of dosage or change of drug.
