Should I Do Urine Or Blood Test Urgently To Check For Clap?
I have health insurance, i need to get checked for an std. I g i t a phone call from My ex and said he has the clap. Could i go to urgent care and get a urine test to see if the bacteria is present. Or possibly a blood test at an urgent car? Im very concerned.
Well I read your complaint carefully. Since your Ex has a clap infection, its quite possible that you too have that since it is a sexually transmitted disease. Now clap infection in women can produce symptoms like greenish yellow or whitish discharge from vagina, pelvic pain or lower abdominal pain, burning while urinating, bleeding in between periods, swelling of vulva etc but in women sometimes the symptoms are so mild that they may go unnoticed. You have not mentioned about any symptom. Now if you want to confirm whether you have clap infection, the best will be culture of endocervical swab which is a swab taken from cervix. Cervix is lower portion of uterus extending into vagina. The culture results will make it clear if you have clap. Although some urine tests are also available, but this is a better test.
