HI
WELCOME TO HCM AND THANKS FOR THE QUERY.
YES TSH OF 6.85 IS SLIGHTLY ON HIGHER SIDE.ALSO RAISED CHOLESTEROL,WEIHT GAIN ALONG WITH CONSTIPATION ARE FOUND IF HYPOTHYROIDISM IS UNDERTREATED.
BEFORE INCREASING DOSE OF THYRONORM,I WANT TO ASK YOU:
ARE YOU TAKING THE TABLET REGULARLY?
DO YOU KNOW THAT TABLET IS TO BE TAKEN ON EMPTY STOMACH IN THE MORNING TO ENSURE PROPER ABSORPTION.
IF TSH IS HIGH INSPITE OF FOLLOWING PROPER INSTRUCTION,THEN I WILL CONSIDER INCREASING THROXINE DOSE TO 75MCG.
PLEASE CONSULT YOUR PHYSICIAN AND DISCUSS THESE ISSUES.
HOPE MY OPINION WILL HELP YOU
THANKS
