Should I Be Concerned About A Bruise?

I was getting ready for bed and noticed a significant bruise on my wrist. It's on my left wrist (I am right handed, but wear a watch on my left wrist) on the underside of my wrist and there is some mild swelling. I did nothing to hurt myself during the day or even complained about hurting my wrist or arm. There is mild pain when I press on the bruise, but otherwise I wouldn't even know it was there, other than the awful color and how large the bruise is. Should I be concerned?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
Looking to the history given here, the condition right now can be treated symptomatic keeping in mind that this could be local swelling of wrist joint may be due to uneven compression if I would be your doctor then I would treat you with the following medicines,
1) Tab Acetaminophen three times in day
2) Tan Diclofenac 50 mg sustain release once in day
if the condition persistence or appears again then the possibility of single joint arthritis may be likely and that would be found out, have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
