Should Foot Blistering With Skin Peeling Need Medical Attention Immediately?

I have bilateral foot neuropathy. Had an infection set in to my right big toe necessitating it s amputation last May. I have been walking great ever since, even took a trip to Europe this Summer with no issues. Today I went out for a walk (approx 2.5 miles) and when I returned home found that I had blistered the ball of my right foot pretty severely - skin has gone ahead and sloughed off inside my sock and shoe. Should I seek medical attention right away or stay off of it and wrap it myself for a couple of days to see how it heals?

Hello

I can understand your problem

Yes blisters cant be taken lightly

If it is associated with tightness... tingling numbness and muscle weakness... you must consult doctor... it may be due to developing compartment.
