Should Feeling Dizzy After A Hit Be Considered Serious?

I fell backward while pulling a wheelbarrow. Mt left foot caught on a brick and I took a big spill. I am s nauseous, still dizzy. I landed on my left wrist and left side of my body. This was about an hour ago and I am still feeling dizzy. Should I go to the emergency room and get an MRI on my head to be sure there is no clots?

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Dizziness after injury (fall), maybe for a short duration, is a symptom which should not be ignored. It may be because of brain concusson. You must go to the ER of a hospital and be under observation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirmal Chander Gupta, Orthopaedic Surgeon
