Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hello Annette,
Sedation is one of the commonest side effect of psychiatric medication however your body does get accustomed to it. You would know best about how you feel after you have taken your medicines. You seem to be on quite a high dosage of the medication at this point. You should wait a few days and identify how you are feeling after the ingestion of the dose. Try doing some skilled task like a puzzle or something that takes a lot of skill and try and gauge how well you perform on that task. It will give you a fair idea. Also, you can ask your treating doctor to adjust the doses to night time so that it does not interfere with your driving abilities during the day.
