Should A Long Delay In Period Call For Medical Intervention?

Hello. It s been about 55 days since my last menstrual cycle. There is absolutely no chance that I m pregnant. I m not on any birth control pills. I m just curious as to what could cause this, and at what point should I consider seeing a professional?

Hello there thanks for posting your query at HCM
I advice that you must get to [professional advice immediately . Since you mention there is no use of birth control pill and you are nor pregnant . Your doctor will definitekly advice a urionary pregnancy test to rule any pregnancy . If that is negative she will go for an ultrasound and a hormonal profile including the serum progesterone , estrogen ,LH, FSH, and prolactin . AND IF NOTHING IS REALLY BAD with you ,she might keep you on low dose ocps to make your cycle regular . I hope you pay heed to what i have said take care
