Had a fall on left hand was xrayed no break showed cast put on for possible fracture of the scaphoid. After 10 days re xrayed still no break cast on for 7 days then had bone scan it showed no fracture but bruised scaphoid. Cast removed thumb still very sore and tender burning sensation and swelling remain in palma base of thumb. what should I do wear a brace use it could the bone scan miss a fracture
