i just started taking my seroquel again after being off of it for a year and a half and an getting violent stomach pains and diarrhea. I also woke up the other morning very dizzy and sweating profusely. the stomach pains and diarrhea are horrible and have been going on for about four days. I remember that when I used to take it I sometimes had a sensitive stomach but nothing close to this twenty four seven pain. will this pain in away soon like most side effects do or is this a sign that I need to get off immediately. please help me.

Hi,

Seroquel (Quetiapine ) can cause abdominal pain but not diarrhoea, as you mentioned. Hence abdominal pain and diarrhoea are due to some other cause and seem unrelated to Seroquel. Consult a doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
