Should I Worry About Cancer As Per Ultrasound Result?

I just recently got my period with all my usual symptoms after about 13-14 months of no periods. I had an ultra sound which showed the uterine lining to be 6mm (was told this was borderline s/b <5mm) and now I'm scheduled for a biopsy. Should I be overly concerned? Age 52 1/2, 5"4", 136lbs, meds - niaspan 2000mg, lovastatin 20mg, aspirin 81mg, singulair 10mg, fish oil supplement 1000mg, asthma, last cholesterol check in Jan level 184, all other numbers very good. Family history: Mom early stage breast cancer at age 69 now age 80 cancer free, Maternal aunt stomach cancer at age 80.

Hi, dear.
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have high risk because of family history. But from your usg report it is not suggestive of cancer. However you should go for biopsy. It can be anything. From usg it is not possible to say it is cancer or not. So go for biopsy. It will give perfect idea about your lesion.
Hope I have answered your question, if you have doubt then I will be happy to answer.
Thanks for using health care magic.
Wish you a very good health.
