Should I Take Mebendazole For Anal Itching?

Hi I am 16 and I have had anal itching for almost 3 months. Everything Ive tried to cure it
Has failed. I took mebendazole or whatever it's called and it didn't help. I have used
Hemmoroids cream on it and it didn't help. My anus looks normal like no bumps or lumps for hemmoroids.
I never see blood at any time coming from my anus also. Please help me!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is not the hemorrhoid then it is useless to use ointment for itching because the anal itching could be due to worm infestation, fungal infection, the most important is to know the underlying cause of itching till then it can be managed with antifungal steroid containing local applications, clinical examination is the option to get done the diagnosis, some time it may be fissure condition, allergic condition could be the another cause of itching, hope this information helps.
